Outdoor Education

Our Philosophy:

Because we do not have a traditional physical education program, many students receive P. E. credit through our outdoor program. With our outdoor program, we offer more credit to students in need.

Our students' previous experiences in school have left them disillusioned with school, doubting their self-worth and distrusting adults. Through our outdoor education program, we provide students with unique opportunities and experiences in which their self-confidence and teamwork skills are enhanced.

In our outdoor program, students will gain insight into their own lives as well as compassion for others. These courses force students to challenge themselves in different ways. Students will be exposed to situations in which thier previous boundaries of fitness, communication, and trust are stretched. Our outdoor education program is the heart of our school serving a crucial role.

Mission: Wolf
